While the rules of Drusus Mercenaries are relatively straightforward and listed elsewhere, there are a few other norms and values that bear mention.

First, as a member of this organization, you must respect others. This does not mean, however, that you must blindly and blithely accept what others say and do. Honest feedback is desired greatly at Drusus Mercenaries, and if you have something to add, feel free to do so. Simply do it without evidence of cursing or poor use of grammar, language or prejudicial commentary. A properly scathing statement which gets to the truth is more than welcome: it is dearly wanted.

Second, Drusus Mercenaries has a policy of finding leadership and promoting it in order to maximize value. If you see an opportunity for leadership, then take that opportunity. Do not allow your fellows to languish when you can assist them with knowledge or aid. If you see leadership, email Almumin so that he can review it and investigate; the same follows for incidents of poorly mannered, rancorous, or even evil behavior on the part of members or their close associates.

Third, refrain from rancorous behavior. There is no reason to taunt those you defeat, or whom you are defeated by in battle or in wit. Leave it be, gather yourself together, and move on to the next combat or encounter if there is nothing more to be gained.

Fourth, at Drusus Mercenaries, maturity is a requirement, not an option. If you wish to be frivolous, or a pirate, or a liar, then find another organization that fits your core values. Do not your valuable time if your values do not match ours. It would not be rational, and it certainly would not be fun to among those who seek to promote good and right, if you seek only evil and chaos.

Fifth, while feedback, honesty, integrity, and honor are sought among members of Drusus Mercenaries, weak-willed, immature, and informing attributes and behavior are to be avoided. Do not inform on a member if they have done nothing wrong, and especially do not bear false witness. There are few things that will cause you to be evicted and flagged as an outcast than bearing false witness against others.

Finally, please do not overly complain or whine. Frustration at losing your ship is fine; an endless barrage of complaints over that same loss is simply unacceptable. Losses occur; expect them, learn from them, and strive to avoid and overcome future attempts by others to destroy your ship and leave you with nothing.
