What style of corporation is Drusus Mercenaries?
On another post, it states that we are a "semi-roleplaying corp." In reality, we are business casual, straight and simple. We expect our members to contribute, but we don't expect them to spend the next year and half glued to a computer, fighting our causes and failing life.
We have reasonable expectations. We plan to build ourselves with a variety of players - roleplayers, non-roleplayers, pvpers, and dare we say it, even munchkins, and so we are open a variety of options. We would never require you to roleplay, however - we are not carebear fanatics.
Basically, if you work hard, follow the rules, and try to do the right thing for the greater good of the group and the world at large, then you will fit whatever your level of reading comprehension and with even a fair amount of understanding. Reading comprehension and raw data crunching ability just helps in certain cases.
What do we expect?
We are looking for independent, self-directed and energetic people to take charge and take the lead. We have a great strategic leader, and we are looking for good members and leaders to take up roles as pilots and officers after they complete training.
We use jargon at times, so don't be frightened if we say something that makes no sense. Ask questions and you will get reasonable answers.
What kind of people are we looking for?
We are looking for independent, mature, and self-directed people. We do not want little munchkins bellowing, "hoody-hoo" - unless they work hard, follow our ethics and rules, and bring in the isk. That's the only set of exceptions.
We follow an ethical standard, and we expect you to follow it if you join. If you don't like it, then don't join us. It's straightforward.
What skillpoint requirements do you have?
We don't have skill point requirements. We have vicious reading comprehension and thinking requirements. Skill points will come with the certificates we want you to train up.
What do we provide?
We have a full time researcher and production specialist with us, a clever diplomat, an amazing strategist, and a great vision.
What do we plan to do?
We plan to become elite mercenaries and specialists who are good at what we do. We have been around for over a year, and now all we need are energetic players who will provide the impetus and talent to forge our way there, as a team, as a group, and as a corporation.
What do we do in the meanwhile?
We often hold operations in high-security, 0.0, and wormhole space. We try to involve all members if at all feasible.
How do I join?
Feel free to convo one of us if you see us around, or just apply at one of the stations listed above. We can walk you through the rest. Its a mess right now, so don't expect much from us quite yet. We are still bringing our modules online.
